pregnant weather reporter

Usually the Weather reporter is a pretty woman showing all kind of new fashion ,but today I was surfing through channels and I saw a pregnant weather reporter in an Italian channel , I am not saying pregnant women don't look good but that was unusual thing to see at least for me .

Dear friend ... what should a meteorologist NOT be pregnant?? It is NOT a condition she must be ashamed of but something natural - and normal! I attest this astonishment of yours to your culture in which pregnancy-related issues are likely to be hidden or at least not discussed publically ... please correct me should I be wrong!
Rest assured, there is nothing wrong with it at all ... I have seen them here and nobody even mentioned it! I find she is a couraged woman - you should commend her!!

easy karin , did I say something wrong about that woman , no I didnt and I didnt say anything about being pregnant , and you know what one of the best things I studied so far is Obestatric and Gynecology , I loved it because we deal with two people at the same time the mother and her son , any way I just want to tell you the idea you have about us hidding and being ashamed to discuss pregnancy related issues is just wrong .

Yes , Hamed nowadays pregnant ladies tend to do everything until D.O.D.and is not unusual to see them in all fields. Some years back maternity wear was quite loose and comfortable but now expecting ladies wear tight clothes and are very obvious.

it's okay, natural thing. usually women on TV try to be in good shape and not ruin the image of their bodies by pregnancy. Manal Ereqat if I'm not mistaken, was the first weather reporter I saw with big belly. She was pregnant and she didn't try to hide that. She looks lovely as expecting mother. Oh, it's Manal Adam. And I found later an article about her as proud expecting mother. So nice. Be natural and let life goes on.

Relax Hamed - I AM easy! The question per se did baffle me a bit .. a WEE-bit that is!
I know you didn't say anything against this woman - I never suggested that!
Pregnancy and related issues ARE discussed publicly? I didn't know that .. I rather thought they are kept a bit more privat, behind closed doors so-to-say. I am happy you told me .. I am sure there are LOTS of things I still have to learn or have a wrong idea about - so ... thanks so much for teaching!!
Obstetrics and GYN are GREAT - you're right .. though I am more into cardiology.

hehe, Its funny how everyone misunderstood Hamed and attacked him by saying its "normal" to see a pregnant lady reporter when all Hamed was trying to do is share something with us that he found interesting..

I liked this post! I've never see a pregnant lady reporter. I want to see one now..

hey but i have seen a pregnant lady actor.. yeah.. so i've seen a pregnant lady on t.v (i've also seen a pregnant lady in real life..)

Hi lebeeya,
You know for someone living over here it is totally normal to see that .. probably a year ago (or a bit more) there was just what he mentioned - a "VERY MUCH" pregnant meteorologist! This was why I kind of raised my eyebrows ...
Do you feel he was attacked? Nooooooooo, I don't think so!

Hamed taught me as well that pregnancy-related issues are discussed publically and I am very grateful to him as I didn't know that and actally thought the opposit ... but this is how we all learn to understand one another better! It's a good thing, right?
