صـــوت صـفـيـر الـبـلـبـل

كان الخليفة العباسي أبو جعفر المنصور لا يعطي الشاعر على قصيدة نقلها من غيره وكان يحفظ ما يسمع من أول مرة ، وله غلام يحفظ القصيدة من مرتين ، و جارية تحفظ القصيدة من ثلاث ..
فكان الشاعر يكتب قصيدة طويلة ، يدبجها طول ليلة وليلتين وثلاثفيقول له الخليفة : إن كانت من قولك أعطيناك وزن الذي كتبته عليها ذهبا ، وإن كانت من منقولك لم نعطك عليها شيئا فيوافق الشاعر .. ويلقيها على مسامع الخليفة فيحفظها الخليفة من أول مرة .. فيقول له أنني أحفظها منذ زمن بعيد فيقولها له ثم يؤكد ذلك بالغلام الذي حفظها أيضا فيذكرها كاملة ثم ينادي على الجارية التي قد فتقولها كاملة فيشك الشاعر في نفسه وهكذا مع كل الشعراء , فبينما هم كذلك إذا بالأصمعي يقدم عليهم فيشكون إليه حالهم, فقال : دعوا الأمر لي , فكتب قصيدة ملونة الأبيات والموضوعات وتنكر بزي أعرابي وأتى الأمير ليسمعه شعره ..

فقال الخليفة : أتعرف الشروط .. قال : نعم .. قال : هات القصيدة .. فقال :

صـــوت صـفـيـر الـبـلـبـل ** هــيــج قـلـبـي الـثـمـل

المـاء والـزهـر مــعــــا ** مــع زهـــر لـحظ المـقـل

وأنت يـا ســـيــد لـــي ** وســيــدي و مـــــولي لــي

فــكــم فــكــم تـيـمـني ** غــزيــــــــــــل عــقــيــقــــــــل

قــطــفــتـه مــن وجـنــة ** مـــن لــثــم ورد الخـجـل

فـــــقــــــــال لا لا لا لا ** و قــد غـــدا مــهــرول

والــخـــود مــالـت طــربا ** مــن فـــعـــل هذا الرجل

فــولــولــت وولـــولــت ** ولــي ولــي يـــا ويـــــــلـلـي

فـــقــلـت لا تــولــولـي ** وبــيــنــي الـلـــــــــؤلــــــــؤلــي

قــــالــت لـه حـيـن كــذا ** أنــهــض وجــــــد بـالنـقـل

والــعــود دنــدنــدن لي ** والــطــبــل طـبـطـب طـبـلي

والــرقــص قــد طــاب لـي ** والـسـقـف ســقــسـق سـق لـي

شـــوا شــــوا وشــاهــش ** عـلـى ورق ســــفـــرجــــل

نــظــمــت قــطــعـا زخـرفـت ** يــعــجــز عــنــهــا الأدب لي

أقــول فـي مـــطــلــعــهـا ** صــــوت صــفــيــر الــبـلبل

فلم يستطيع الخليفة أن يحفظها لصعوبة كلماتها وتداخل حروفها ، فنادى الغلام فلم يستطع شيئا غير أبيات متقطعة فنادى الجارية فعجزت عندئذ قال الخليفة أحضر ما كتبته عليها لنعطيك وزنه ذهبا ..
قال الأصمعي ورثت عمود رخام من أبي نقشت عليه القصيدة وهو على ظهر الناقة لا يحمله إلا أربعة من الجنود فانهار الخليفة وجئ بالعمود فوزن كل ما في الخزنة , وعندما أراد الخروج .. عرف الخليفة أنه الأصمعي ، وعرف منه سبب حيلته , فاتفق معه أن يعطي الشعراء ما تيسر من أجل تشجيعهم

Blood Donation

When was the last time you donated blood ?

Ask this question to anyone in the street here , I am sure more than 90% will answer never , and those who did donate, it would be directed donation i.e for someone they already know , like if his cousin is having operation he would donate for him , it's a big shame that it's very very rare here in Libya for someone to go by his will just to donate blood , I can't see any excuse for any healthy adult not to make one day every 6 months just to give blood , may be you don't know that one or even half liter would be saving someone else's life , someone will need it to make him live, may be you don't know that you can give part of your life to someone else , yes it's life you are giving here , because if you know how many people die here just because of bleeding you will be shocked , Last year in our Obestatrics course one patient was complaining how she suffered so much and she almost died because of bleeding and there was no blood to replace for her as fast as she needed , I asked her one question to stop her from blaming the hospital and the doctors and everyone else , Did you ever donate blood , she said no putting her head down , did your husband ever donate blood , she said we are married for 20 years now and he never did , I asked her again then from where the blood would come to you if almost all the Libyans like you , yes this woman could be anyone , it could be you , donate today because you have no excuse , and even if you didn't needed blood ever , someone else would need it for sure.

I donated before and I noticed something really different in the donation room from all the other areas in the hospital , you don't know how staff would be so pleased to see you and to serve you the minute they know you are here for donation , go to Alkhadra hospital on emergency entrance ask for the blood donation room and they will show you and help you out , and the same as in TMC ( Tripoli Medical Center ) go to the emergency entrance and ask in the reception where you can donate blood , they will take a blood sample from you first for viral screening HIV , hepatitis B and C , and to measure your hemoglobin level , the results will come the next day then when you come inshallah everything will be good and they measure your blood pressure and then you can give the liquid of life , you don't know how happy you will feel after that .

الطابور

امس فى الليل جانى كابوس نوضنى من النوم , حلمت انى واقف فى طابور و الطابور هذا مستقيم و مافيش حد يقص ولا ينقز لغاية ما وصل فيا الدور نوضت مخلوع , تعوذت من الشيطان لقيت روحى فى السرير ففرحت الحمد لله , معقول فى ليبيا وطابور مستقيم أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم .
انا ما فيش مرة ولو مرة واحدة وقفت فى اى طابورفيه أكثر من ثلاثة أشخاص فى ليبيا إلا وصارت فيه مشكلة ضرورى ما يجى واحد يقص و يلخبط الدنيا كلها , هذا لو فيه طابور اصلا لان الغالبية عبارة عن كدس من الناس , هذا النظام الجديد اللى حنى اخترعناه , تكدسو والصحيح فى الجسم او الوجه يتسقد فى الاول , خلي نعطيكم بعض الامثلة .

فى السوبر ماركت واقفين عادى فى الطابور جى واحد شاد باكو حليب قص قدامى ومد الفلوس , نفخت نفخة لين حسيت النار بتطلع من خشمى و فنصت فيه شبحلى ومش عاجبه اللى صاير , قلتله غير استأذن راهو بنادمية اللى قدامك , حتى صاحب المحل معجبتاش دوتي , قال : معليشى عنده باكو حليب واحد بس , قلتله كانا غير يستأذن نخلصهوله حتى انى الباكو , علاش معندناش احترام ,مش عارف علاش .

فى أى مقهى نطلب اى حاجة , زوز طابونة ,بيتسا,نص بالدحى اى حاجة المهم نقعد نستنى ويجى واحد بعدى وياخد نفس الحاجة اللي طلبتها قبلى, علاش عندنا الواسطة فى كل شئ, مش عارف علاش.
و مرة في مطعم الكباب متاع راس حسن واقفين فى الطابور زى الناس واحد لابيه لا عليه نادى ولده الصغير و قاله هاك الفلوس وبرا قص القدام فى الطابور وخود 6 كباب , توا مش الواحد يمزطله راسه على الحيط هذا ولا شنى, يعلم فى الولد القصان من توا بكري بكري باش ما يحصلش حصلته هوا توا .

فى الجوازات فى المطار انت واقف فى الطابور ستين واحد يقص قدامك ويحساب روحه دار حاجة كبيرة لما يختم الجواز قبل الناس , انا ديما نختم اخر .واحد وننزل نلقى شنطتي تستنى فيا واللى قصو كلهم قاعدين يستنو , علاش حنى فالحين فى التفشيك على بعض, مش عارف علاش .

فى أى جنازة انت واقف وتضرب فيك الشمس وتبى تعزي وتحصل الاجر تلقى ناس جاية باش بتورى وجهها وخلاص يتداعكو وينقزو فى نص الطابور, علاش تعب فى روحك يا بنادم مش عارف علاش.

فى الطريق لما تصيير زحمة تلقى السيارات قريب تركب فوق بعضها كل واحد يبي يوصل الاول والقصان على مفاصله من اليمين واليسار, الناس شايطة فيها النار , مش عارف علاش .

في الشيل ( محطة البنزين) انت واقف فى طابور السيارات يجى واحد بقمة الوقاحة والبرادة وصحة الوجه يجي بسيارته من قدام ويوخرها للماكينة , انا مرة حضرت عركة فى الشيل على خاطر القصان هذا , متاع الشيل قال للراجل حول سيارتك برا شد الطابور . الراجل سكر راسه يبى يعبى, متاع الشيل سخن و قاله تى والله ما تحولهاش الا لما نصب عليها بنزينة , ونتشلك فيها النار هنى, أحلى حاجة فى ليبيا تصكير الراس مش عارف علاش.

البنات والنساويين مرة مرة يفلفزولى فى رقبتي حتي هما ,تجي تقص قدام الطابور ببرودة وعادي وتاخد حاجتها قبل الكل من غير إحم ولا تستور تقول فايتة على صفة لوح مش ناس واقفة تستني , يأنسة يا أبلة يا أخت يا أمى يا هووه غير علاش القصان بس , مش عارف علاش .

خاطرى نعرف شني مشكلتنا مع الطابور ,علاش مفيش صبر , علاش الاستعجال , الكل يفكر غير نسقد روحى بس و طز فى الباقى.
ستالين ولا مش عارف منى زمان لما شد روسيا كان مداير قناصين فى اماكن الطوابير و اى واحد غير يمد زومته بس ( يطلع وجهه) من الطابور يصلفقوه برصاصة فى جبهته على طول , ياريت تطبق الفكره هذى هنى باش الليبيين كلهم تبدا جبهتهم منقوبة والواحد يوقف في طابور زي الناس .

يلا, شكلى توا بنمشي نشد طابور باش نمحي اثار الكابوس اللى شفته ونولي للواقع .

blogger meeting

I just came back from my first meeting with another blogger , I met Akram that all of you know as A.Adam , there was no surprise that he didn't look anything like his profile picture but I couldn't help myself imaging him looking like that while I was looking for him in mydan el Jaza2ir where we met , first I wanted to use my right of remaining silent because anything I say may be used against me in his blog but I found myself not caring , we had nice chat and it's surprising how the real person is much different from the name you see in the screen , I am glad that I got the chance to meet one of the Libyan bloggers and I wish one day we make a bigger meeting with other bloggers , A.Adam thank you for the tea and inshallah we will meet again and again .

No Plastic Bags

I was happy the other day when I was at the bakery near our house and I saw the new campaign against plastic bags took effect ,it is held by the Environment General Authority and The Secretariat Of Health & Eviroment aiming to stop using the plastic bags in the bakeries and replace them with paper bags or other alternatives , this will limit the carcinogenic effect of the plastic bags on the food especially the hot bread and will try to lower the number of plastic bags being used daily which are causing two enviromental problems , one is the large number of bags staying at the sides of the streets , roads and highways , surprisingly I read an article saying that a plastic bag can live up to 1,000 years on the side of the road and a paper bag wouldnt last more than a month , the other Enviromental issue is toxix gases that result from burning these bags as the method used here in destroying them .
It might be just a small one step but it means alot taking it and hopfully we will see more strict rules on keeping our cities clean and healthy .

الخانب

because it's so difficult to describe it in English and even harder to understand it for non Libyans I decided to write abut this thing happened to me the other day in Libyan.

كنت مروح من صلاة الظهر لقيت زحمة فى الشارع , مجموعة ملتمين على واحد و مجموعة اكبر تتفرج عليهم , وزى أى ليبي فإن أى مشكلة فى شارعنا لابد ما نحشي خشمى فيها ونعرف شنى صاير , وصلت لنص الزحمة لقيت اولاد شارعنا شادين واح عبيد الباين انه مش ليبى .
غير صلو على النبى يا جماعة الخير شني فيه
خانب , قال واحد بصوت عالى يلعلع
الشباب كان ناقصهم غير التكبير بعد ما سمعو كلمة خانب وبدو فى الخانب تعنفيق و كل واحد يشح فيه من جيهة , انحزت فى الاخير لكن صاحبنا الخانب مسكين معاش تعرف وجهه من قفاه, ركبوه فى سيارة وطارو بيه لمركز الشرطة , طبعا فى ليبيا الشعب فى خدمة الشرطة انت اللى تشد الخانب و انت اللى ترفعهوهم للمركز وناقص غير يقولولك احبسه فى حوشكم , المهم مش هادا موضوعنا , بعد محاورات مع الشباب عرفت شني المشكلة و عرفت صاحب المحل اللى خنب منه صاحبنا الخانب المسكين , لكن المشكلة هدا محل نظارات يعنى اكيد خنب منه فلوس , هدرزت على صاحب المحل نبى نعرف شنى صار , صاحبنا خنب نظارة . خلاص ضاقت عليه الدنيا معاش لقي شني يخنب غير نظارة لا وشنى نظارة طبية زيادة مش شمسية , انا على طول تذكرت المثل الليبى اللي يقول عمية وشدت خانب , لكن المرة هذى الباين حتى الخانب أعمى,انا قاعد حاير شنى كان يبي يديير بالنظارة اللى خنبها.
باهى توا نجو لحكاية التعنفيق , الصراحة انى مامديتش ايدى على الخانب لكن تقريبا اكثر من 10 شباب حصلو فيه على الاقل تعنفيقة وحدة , وهذا يوضح قداش الشعب الليبى متكافل و متعاون مع بعضه لكن فى التعنفيق بس وهدا علاش جى المثل متاع عمية وشدت خانب والباين اولاد الشارع كلهم عمى وماصدقو طاحو فى خانب .
انا مريت بمشكلة التعنفيق هذى مرة وحدة فى حياتى وانشاء الله معاش تتعاود, من سنتين فاتو كنت طالع من الساحة الخضراء بالسيارة وكان فيه واحد قاص على رجليه وما انتبهتلاش وماوقفتلاش و معجباش اللى صار وضرب السيارة برجله ولا بيده مش عارف وقعد يفتفت ويقلل فى ادبه , انى صخنت نزلتله من السيار وقلتله خيرك شنى فيه , زاد منن الدوة الفاضية شديته مع سوريته وخنقته و فى ثوانى جميع الاشكال المعفنة والمصيصة جت تجرى من جيهة باب الحرية ومن عمر المختار و رخيت صاحبنا و بدو يشحو فيا من كل جيهة وانى ضلمت عليا معاش فيه كيف نهرب , محدش بدى يضرب يشنتلو فيا بس و ما نبيش نقول كانو اكثر من خمسين نفر ملتمين عليا لان أخر حاجة كنت نفكر فيها هى انى نعدهم , الصراحة كنت نفكر فى سيارتى شنى بيصير فيها , وللعلم سيارة النجدة كانت واقفة مقابلنا ولكن لا حياة لمن تنادى , الكلام هذا كله كان اقل من دقيقة , وباش ما نعطلش وما نديرش روحى بطل وكيف طلعت من المشكلة هذى خلى نقوللكم الاعجوبة اللى صارت , من وسط الزحمة المصيصين بدو يوسعو معرفتش علاش لكن لما شبحت المخلوق اللى خاش للنص تمنيت حتى انى نوسعله معاهم , لما بدا يتكلم عرفته انه من البشر لان شكله ما يوحيش بأي ملامح انسان, شنى فيه قال والكل ردو بصوت واحد كان بيضرب سموعة, شبحلى من فوق لى لوطا والباين سخف عليا حط ايده على كتفى وعطانى عنفقة مش حننساها طول حياتى , قالى روح ومعاش نبى نشبح وجهك فى الجيهة هذى وطبعا مع اضافة بعض الكلمات اللى متنقالش .
انا مش فخور باللى صار لكن لولا هالعنفقة لكانو مسحو بيا الساحة مسح , والرجولة تحضر وتغيب فايللى تعنفق فالناس اليوم غدوة نهارك احرف.

the summary for the whole thing is that the other day a shop lifter got caught in my neighborhood and the weired funny thing was the thing he stole , it was a pair of glasses not sunglasses but a optical glasses ,I wonder what he wanted to do with them .
